Khadine is a native of New York City. She studied Fine arts in Fashion Institute of Technology and studied art history in New York University as well as Queens College. Years ago, she left the urban life and made Florida her home. Florida is a fitting home for this artist who is constantly inspired by the lushness of color Florida has to offer.
If you ask Khadine what subject matter she paints, she will very simply say she paints mostly “women.” While that is true, in reality, it is the exploration of the feminine life that most intrigues her. Her women have been captured in a stage of life and are meant to inspire contemplation and meditation as they live their moment within their picture frame.
To further explore the feminine spirit, she incorporates materials such as embroidery thread, paper flower collage, and fabric.
She hopes you will be captivated and be reminded to meditate on life as you view her work.
