Artist BIO

Beth Toledo

My artistic journey began in South Korea, where I discovered macramé. This craft became a passion that would lead me to experiment and evolve my techniques. As an educator, I am committed to sustainability and that became a cornerstone as I transitioned from macramé to weaving. I use sustainable and repurposed materials such as vintage tablecloths, napkins, thrifted sheets, and other forgotten fabrics that find new life in my work. I love the beauty in discarded items. Additionally, I upcycle cords, integrate vintage beads, and repurposed forgotten jewelry into my creations as well.
