Christina Ilczyszyn

Christina Ilczyszyn is an artist located in SWFL. Primarily a self-taught artist, she enjoys creating interesting pieces combining sculpture, paint, glitter, resin, and other non-conventional materials (i.e., building supplies: spackle and caulk).
Although not formally educated in art, she has attended numerous workshops. Receiving training in clay sculpture, Japanese rice paper painting, and other drawing and painting techniques. Christina had the privilege of touring many art museums throughout Germany (Berlin, Hamelin, and Hamburg), St. Louis, Biloxi, and New Orleans.
A proud FGCU Alumni (2007 & 2013). GO EAGLES!!! Christina has lived in Cape Coral, FL for 25 years and is originally from Biloxi, MS. Christina enjoyed the thriving art culture growing up along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Notable MS Gulf Coast artists include Dusti Bongé, George E. Ohr (Mad Potter of Biloxi), Walter and Leif Anderson and so many more.
Working under; It’s Just Christina’s ArT, LLC, Christina has crafted a place as an Art Teacher within the community by providing education and instruction to artists of all ages and abilities. In addition to, providing live painting at events and commissioned work.
Christina has been a featured artist in several venues, contests, exhibits and community events, to include:
-Cape Coral Art Festival (Ollie’s Pub) live painting, 2022 & 2023
-Dark Art Show at the Sidney & Berne Art Center, 2021
-Synergy Presents - Collab Challenge held at the Sidney & Berne Art Center, 2020
-Live painting various music and community events since, 2020
-MSGC Centennial contest, exhibition, and scholarship, 1992
When not creating art, Christina loves spending time with her partner, kids, and doggies (Chester & Napoleon).
