Artist BIO

Ernestine Vicari Stafford is a professional artist who has been painting and teaching art for over 30 years. She began teaching while living in Germany and has been teaching ever since. She has been represented in Florida Galleries, Art Centers and stores from Naples to Jensen Beach. She has taught at Florida Art Centers, Galleries and Educational Centers such as Master the Possibilities at Top of the World, The Villages, the Charlotte County Art Center and as a volunteer for the Charlotte County and Poinciana Boy's and Girl's Club. Ernie as she likes to be called, is currently a member of the Vero Beach Art Club and the Art Associates of Martin County. A native of Michigan Ernie has lived in Florida for the past twenty two years. She has lived on the Gulf Coast, Mid Florida and now resides in Jensen Beach, Fl. where the Ocean provides endless inspiration. She works primarily in watercolor and mixed media collage. Since moving to Jensen Beach in 2022 with her husband, Edward Stafford, Ernie has been acclimating to Condo living while painting seascapes and nautical scenes often using resin as a finishing touch.
