Artist BIO

Sal Sidner

Sal Sidner is an eco feminist artist educator. She is a nomad at home in many places. Her murals in Miami illustrate the life of the ocean and The Everglades. Those in Crete show the cultural life in dance and music. A horticultural volunteer at Fairchild Gardens, Sal has painted in gardens in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia.2024 solo show in Brooklyn of collages interpreted gardens of Marrakech. In 2022 a solo show at Henry Liu Gardens Orlando featured 30 watercolors painted in Florida State parks. “Art is a delicate balance between freedom of the spirit to express itself and representation. Art history is both a delight and a burden.
