Stacey Rago is a contemporary artist, educator, and visionary whose work explores themes of faith, resilience, and the inherent strength of women. She holds a BFA in Drawing and Painting from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. With over two decades of experience teaching art, Rago has devoted her career to fostering creativity and empowering others through visual storytelling.

For years, she placed her artistic aspirations on hold, believing she needed to pursue a more conventional path. While studying Educational Leadership with the goal of becoming a school principal, she felt a persistent pull toward her true calling. In 2025, she made the transformative decision to fully embrace life as an artist, taking a courageous leap of faith despite the uncertainties of leaving a structured career behind.

Rago’s work is a dynamic celebration of life, spirituality, and feminine strength. Inspired by personal experiences, intergenerational narratives, and her travels, she constructs a world where movement and stillness coexist—where women appear suspended between heaven and earth, imbued with an ethereal presence. Her compositions channel a sense of transcendence, inviting viewers into a realm where divine purpose and human experience intertwine.

At the core of her practice is a belief in the power of faith and creative expression to inspire transformation. Through her work, she seeks to uplift and embolden women and young girls, using scripture as both a guiding force and a source of empowerment.
