Artist BIO
Stacey Vennefron

Stacey Vennefron is a rising artist from Northern Kentucky, specializing in acrylics, watercolors, and mosaics, whose style is best described as a careful curation of Realism, Impressionism, and Expressionism, often captured in the abstract or in simplistic scenes from everyday life. Her use of vibrant colors is certain to captivate whether portraying a world in motion or the serenity of a birdsong. Stacey began working with a paint brush as a child at the feet of her grandfather, Bernard Henry Vennefron, a local artist turned businessman who recast his ability to paint with precision into a thriving business, creating custom signs and lettering the doors and sides of commercial vehicles, by hand and brush, for other local businesses. Two generations removed, Stacey served as graphic designer, installer, and office manager for that same business and ultimately became part-owner of Vennefron Signs in her hometown of Newport, Kentucky. Stacey retired from the family business in 2015 and began to pursue her love of painting artistically shortly thereafter. Stacey’s work has been viewed and sold on a limited basis in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. A recent exposition revealed a keen public interest in her work and resulted in the sale of all pieces presented and in multiple private commissions. This warm reception, combined with the maturation of her craft, has compelled her to undertake a first public studio in St Petersburg, Florida. The mother of two daughters, and “Shugie” to five grandchildren, Stacey maintains a working studio in Villa Hills, Kentucky, and currently resides in St Pete Beach, Florida.
