Lisbeth Ascanio is an abstract and figurative artist and fashion designer. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela. From an early age, she had her first steps in art, influenced by her older brother, who is an artist and who also initiated her in music. That artistic influence has always been present in her life. At the young age of 7, she was able to draw portraits accurately, a skill that she has been transforming creating her own style. That connection with art led her to study Fashion Design at the Las Mercedes Design Academy in her hometown. She then created her own company and was producing casual clothing under her Avangard brand for 31 consecutive years, a task that gave her great satisfaction. In 2018 she resumed her passion for painting and since then she has focused on promoting her artistic career, participating in numerous exhibitions both in Venezuela and in the United States. She currently lives and actively works as an artist in Cape Coral, Florida.
