I am a native Floridian born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. My first art lessons were taken at the Norton Museum of Art in 1962. Over the years, I have taken classes at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, New School of Manhattan, Mosaic Academy of Miami as well as private lessons with local artists. After graduating high school, I moved to New York City and had a successful career as a textile designer. Upon returning to Florida, I joined my family's business and continued to pursue many different art mediums as a hobby.
I am recently retired from business and am now focused on pursuing my love for the arts full time. My work includes mosaic pieces using a variety of materials including tiles, sea glass, shells, and found objects from original ideas and client specifications. Colored pencil is also a medium I enjoy working with focusing on wildlife, nature, and pet portraits.
