Born and raised in NY, with an interior designer mother and art dealer father, playing with fabrics, paints and texture were second nature. Privileged to have lived in Los Angeles for almost 2 decades, Hali now lives and paints surrounded by the beautiful waters of Miami. An early love of art paved way for what has become her "mid life exploration". A self taught abstract acrylic painter, Hali borrows breaths and inspiration from such esteemed artists as Monet, Joan Mitchell, and Larry Poons.
"The larger the canvas the better", directs the beat of the movement, and rhythm of each stroke. "Color is everything" experimenting with acrylics, mixing, wiping, rolling on canvas is the most exciting language and place of her pure happiness.
