My name is Pablo Matute, I am an art student at FIU, I am 21 years old and I have been drawing for 15 years. My style is based off an old method of surrealism which is automatic drawing, in those random shapes and patterns emerge mythical figures mainly refected in myself, I often like to call my drawing self-portraits just because I see alot of myself in my drawing. My main mediums include charcoal, acrylic paint, and ink but im always expanding with other mediums such as pastel, oils, and graphite.

To me, I always believe my work is evolving through its abstract shapes and methods. i always try to push away from the norm of surrealism and contemporary art, always trying to make something no one eles has seen, to make my work unique and unforgetable.
