Brian King is an artist and poet living in Richmond, VA. His current paintings are abstract oils on cotton paper measuring 30” x 42” Brian has exhibited his work at the Virginia Musem of Fine Arts in Richmond, Anton Gallery in Washington DC. Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse NY. Munson Proctor Museum in Utica, NY, University of Rochester, University Museum at Albany University and the Anderson gallery in Richmond. Brian is the recipient of the M.F.A. degree in Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University. He retired from Northrop Grumman in 2018. Currently Brian and his wife Amy formed a non-profit LLC to create a film about the Richmond Slave Trail.
