Artist BIO

Monica Czukerberg

Monica Czukerberg is a visual artist, focused mainly on abstract painting, sculpture, mix media and photography, her process consists of searching and experimenting with materials, textures, and shapes. Czukerberg earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at the Anahuac University in Mexico City (2002-2006). She took several courses and diplomas in Fashion, Art History, Drawing, Painting, in different Institutions such as The Instituto Di Moda Burgo in Milan, Italy, The Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, the University Centro for Design, Cinema and TV in Mexico City, among others.


Czukerberg worked in the architectural firm Elipse group for 3 years in Mexico City.


Her work has been exhibited in 3 individual exhibitions and over 20 collective exhibitions in Mexico City, Cancun, Miami, New York, Madrid, and others.


Currently, she is enrolled in the MFA at Barry University in Miami (first 2 years were at the Miami International University of Art and Design), in which she is developing a project that involves textile art, collage, painting, and ceramics.
